****P L E A S E ******R E A D ********T H I S **********W H O L E *************D E S C R I P T I O N!!!!**** GARBAGE MUST BE BROUGHT HOME WITH YOU!!!! If you bring it here, it goes home with you. We had a group not understand this so I want to make sure it is clear. Firewood is for sale here for CASH! Please bring CASH with you. Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees. The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms. Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees. Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind) Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area. Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. 1 Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)

Our stay at Blackberry Mesa (camp #1) was lovely--beautiful and private. The hosts went above and beyond in their generosity which we were so grateful for--thank you!! The site has a very level (!) and sturdy picnic table, as well as a bin that shelters the wood that can function as camp kitchen. There isn't a platform at this site, which is consistent with the description, but the photos accompanying the description had a platform so good to be aware.

This was my second trip to Quilted Woods this time staying in BlackBerry Mesa with a group of 7 friends. We loved the site and exploring the land. Daniel even delivered us wood in the evening when we were running low. I am so happy to have found this Hipcamp. Such a treasure!

2 Swamp Butte (camp 2)

We had a great time at Site#2 at Daniel'a Quilted Woood camp site. Facilities as described and just fun camping. I was happy to be able to drive my jeep up to the site for ready supplies etc., not recommended if you don't have a car with reasonable clearance. Daniel was a great host and good communicator. Highly recommend!

Camping with my love

Amazing Camping Experience my boyfriend and I we spent 2 nights and had an incredible time! The campsite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Daniel is really friendly and helpful, always care of us. The place is amazing and safe.

1 Blackberry Mesa (camp 1)

Campsite

Campsite #1: The campsite is really private and in the woods for real, you’ll feel disconnected from the world, it’s really green and lush, and it’s a big space to walk around, there’s no actual wooden platform, maybe it’s on a different site, the toilet and sink are down the hill (10 min walk) near the owners house, but the pond isn’t usable to bath as it’s very dirty, bring enough water as there’s none at the actual campsite. We weren’t aware that we had to take the trash bags from the entire stay in our cars with us for our roadtrip back, he ended up charging us $5 per bag.

3 (Camp 3)

Great campground, site 3 is very secluded yet not too far from toilets and Pond. Woods are beautiful and W zhad a great time. We did hear some atv noises both night until pretty late but it seemed pretty far. We did hear a bunch of shotguns though that seems closer, but they stopped after 11pm or so. Daniel is very nice and easy to communicate with, definitely recommend!
