Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Rustic Acres Rentals is 50 acres of mostly dense woods with a beautiful stream running through the property that is great to cool off in the summer or just to sit by and relax. The property sits in a valley, so it blocks the lights from town at night to create super bright stars. We are 12 minutes to the closest boat launch on the Allegheny River, 20 minutes from Rocky Gap ATV Trail, and 40 minutes from Kinzua Dam and Kinzua Reservoir where you will also find the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. Endless things to do here including miles of biking and hiking trails that have amazing overlooks of the reservoir.

Good location, great stay
My pooch and I had a great stay on Joe’s property. We went in the middle of the week so there were no other campers around. We stayed at site 7 and high was super spacious and located in the center of the property with a large fire pit and picnic table . Note that this is the least private of the sites; if you’re looking for more privacy I would highly recommend site 3 located near the creek. Joe was kind enough to let us check out the other sites as we were the only campers. The map is clear and the sites are marked well. The upkeep on this property is immaculate. You can tell Joe puts a lot of work into maintaining. Great view of stars at night and just overall a great experience. Would recommend!!

Reserve it now!
I loved Tent Camping here! This was one of the best campsites I have visited in a while, the river was clear and refreshing! The site sat overlooking the river but had several access points down to the water! It was secluded enough to feel in its own world but close enough to towns and site-seeing when you want to explore! We had rain the whole time we were there but the site is perfect to hang a few tarps and keep dry! Just keep in mind it is heavily shaded so its a bit chillier than in the sunshine! Theres wood on site for purchase with a wheelbarrow to haul it all over so it made keeping warm easy! Joe was great and was able to accommodate a hiccup we had at checkout! I high recommend staying a few nights here!

Loved it!
We had such a great time! Exactly what we were looking for. No neighbors, people, or noises. Thankfully we planned ahead and brought a wagon to take to site. The trail isnt bad but it helped a ton. Upon arrival we were amazed at how remote and pretty the stream was. The water was COLD but we enjoyed walking through it. Perfect for hot days. Being completely shaded felt like air conditioning. Tops grocery and dollar general is also 8 mins away. Joe responded quickly to and messages. We'll definitely be back!

We loved the site. Clean upon arrival and the views were great. The creek was clear and clean. I also liked the fact that you can purchase wood so we didn't have to haul our own. Thanks again! We can't wait to come back!.

The campsite was so beautiful! The perfect place for eclipse viewing. My friends and I stayed at central 5 and 6. There were fire rings, along with a picnic table and larger fire pit. The other campsites were occupied, but it did not feel crowded at all. There was nice seasoned firewood available for purchase. Joe was a good host, he showed us to our site when we arrived. Thank you!
