Learn more about this land: Relax under the stars in one of our two canvas tents here on the farm. Includes a spacious tent on a platform with queen bed, and a fire ring. A 3 minute walk to the main house for port a john and sink. Enjoy the farm by visiting the animals (pigs, chickens, ducks), checking out the veggie fields, or hiking in the woods). We are just a half hour from Pittsburgh, so you can take a jaunt into the city too!Tent West is stands along the tree line, looking out over fields of goldenrod, hairy vetch, and queen annes lace. Follow the mown path to Tent Wast, and park near your tent. There's benches, a picnic table, and a fire pit outside, while the inside is simply furnished with a queen bed (on a frame), and bedside tables.

Peaceful camp overlooking a meadow

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the farm, and this spot was private and peaceful and lovely. It was a very hot, sunny afternoon, so we were glad we brought our easy-up for shade. At night the fireflies were magical! The bed in the tent was quite comfortable. We will be coming back!

Overall, we had a great experience. The site was very nice along with the fire pit and seating areas. Due to the time of year and lack of shade, it was very hot during the day. A tree near the tent to provide some relief from the hot sun would be nice during the summer months. We would definitely consider coming back during a cooler month like spring or fall.

Our one night at the East Tent site was fantastic. It was so peaceful, secluded, and comfortable. Our host was so nice, and my son went on a tour of the property with their daughter. They came back with vegetables and flowers for us to keep! A truly wonderful property and we can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

This place is super cute! Jennifer and all her friendly pets gave me a warm welcome. Tent was clean and the queen bed was comfy! It was perfect for a quick sleep only 30 mins from downtown Pittsburgh :)

Canvas tent west

We loved staying in the West facing canvas tent! The tent is clean and spacious with enough room to sit inside if you have some rain. If you expect a sunny, hot weekend perhaps bring an EZ up or a way to get out of the sun as the tree line doesn’t provide much day time shade. We would definitely stay here again!
