Camp on a historical property dating back to 1836. The old Victoria inn pub then and in 1999 converted to a travel agency. Property was famous for inquests held there and horse racing. With a view of the city lights. Site 1 is opposite the olive trees or park on the gravel next to the old heritage building. You can reverse in place to be amongst the old buildings.

The Best Hipcamp Ever
I had the pleasure of camping at Old World Village in O’Halloran Hill, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Helem and her father, who went out of their way to make us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. Helem generously offered us fresh water and delicious tomatoes, while her father even joined us for a cup of coffee—such a kind gesture that truly made us feel at home. The site itself is absolutely stunning, brimming with history and tradition, and you can sense the immense potential this place has. Its location is perfect—just a short drive from the center of Adelaide, yet peaceful and serene, providing a perfect retreat. And on top of all that, it’s very affordable! I highly recommend camping here to anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming experience.

Good location, can't beat the price
Great location very close to Adelaide city. As we used swags, the Ampol next door was very convenient. Set up under olive trees at the back if you have a tent as its away from the road noise with views of the city. Helen our host, was so welcoming and generous!

We loved our stay, we actually stayed for another night making four nights. Hosts very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure. So close to the city was exactly what we needed. Hotel is next door one side and fuel station the other, in other words perfect, with gate locked at the front for security.. thank you Helen 😊
