An incredible marsh front oasis. Beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and stars as far as the eye can see. A plethora of wildlife can be seen here. Don’t get too close to the pond, our resident alligator (Allen) is close to 9’ long! We also have active honeybee hives. Fireflies can be seen during the summer months. Bug spray is highly encouraged during warmer months.
Due to the absence of light pollution many long exposure milky way pictures have been taken! The Palm Corner Campsite is a flat grassy space on the southeast corner of the Bennetts Point 31. Guests will enjoy marsh front privacy overlooking the Ashepoo River. There are no hookups at this site, but water and power are available at the bath house. The communal bath house which includes a toilet, vanity, and a shower is available.
