Old Home Shelter 10
Great find
We had a great time at Big Creek RV Park. James is a good host. He is very welcoming and friendly. He responded to our messages promptly, and provided all the information we asked for. The campground has very spacious spots and is extremely clean. We stayed on the Old Shelter Home site 10 and loved it. We enjoyed sitting under the shelter with the fans on just listening to the sounds of nature and reading. There isn't a lot to do in the area, but if you are looking for a quiet place to just sit and relax, then this is where you need to go. We highly recommend the place.

Stayed one night
It is definitely a place to shower and just chill. There is not much to do but the site was very clean, the bathroom and shower were clean. There was only one bathroom and one shower and you had to work with other people in a way.
There was no trash disposal that I could see and I wish there was one available. My particular site (7b) did not have a fire pit which I think would have added to experience.
Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a more primitive experience.

Very peaceful! Private spacious sites. Dogwood 2 was shady and had a view of the creek.

Old Home Shelter 10
Everything was awesome at Big Creek RV park in Saluda SC. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. The campground ⛺️ was very quiet.
