River Oxobow (Site 5)
This is the best spot we’ve found on hipcamp yet! Very secluded and right on the river, my husband and I both caught fish. The hosts were very responsive and escorted us to the correct site as well as dropped off wood for us. Will definitely be coming back!

Site 3, Fantastic Experience
We had a wonderful experience at site 3! The site was spacious and provided enough space/privacy from other sites; it is also a close walk to facilities and the river. The farm staff was wonderful, they were super friendly, informative, and helpful! We absolutely recommend camping at Black Pearl Farms, especially of you are looking for a less populated camping experience.

Blue View RV
Black Pearl farms was great! The hosts were very attentive to any questions and anything we needed.
The RV gives a beautiful view of the sunset and the farm. I love ground camping but this was a nice change to sleep on a cozy bed inside with good amenities to serve our needs. My son and I had a fun time picking blueberries, and seeing the goat and the new cows that just arrived that day. Great place to just wind down and relax. One of our new favorite close to Charleston camping locations.

The Golden Standard of Hipcamp
Mike is a dream host. The land itself is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do around the property. We kayaked down Edisto River, toured the honey and blueberry farm, and enjoyed nights around the fire at our campsite (#5). If you get a chance to stay here, do NOT pass it up!

Canoe w/River View (Site 4)
A++
I would HIGHLY recommend the farm! Being a solo female I felt very safe. The best part was I was alone, the sites are spaced far enough apart I felt like I had my own spot in the woods. The site is spacious partially shaded and I parked my little camper under a lovely tree. Very much enjoyed relaxing next to the fire ring, listening to the owl chorus, and my the nearby river, seeing dragonflies and lightning bugs. Both farm dogs stopped by to say hello and I enjoyed watching them play together and chase each other! In the morning I watched a hawk hunt for food and talk briefly to the owner who is very pleasant and explained his plans for expanding the camping spots among the blueberry fields. I’ve camped across the USA, Florida to Maine. This place ranks in the top 5 I’ve ever been. I’d definitely camp here again and sincerely wish the owners success in their future endeavors!
