Nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by the marsh you'll have plenty of quiet that nature lovers are always seeking, along with plenty of opportunity for adventure and beach bumming with both Folly Beach and Charleston only a few miles away! Bring your fishing poles for creekside fishing, ride your bikes to the beach, and enjoy a campfire in your private outdoor lounge area. If you are wanting a private pool for a few hours, that can also be arranged! In Charleston, there is endless opportunity for outdoor enjoyment. While it may not be a secluded, tree covered camping site you wont get much closer to the beach than our little marsh side RV parking spot!This Marsh Side Retreat by the beach is a large driveway that offers ample privacy! We are less than a 10 minute ride to the beach and 15-20 minute ride to historic downtown Charleston. Guests will have access to the neighborhood common space for enjoying fishing and kayaking (kayaks available upon request), but you must provide your own life jackets. There is also a private pool within the neighborhood available for those interested in renting by the hour, please inquire for details. Vehicles towed behind motor home, or that are towing a travel trailer will have an allotted parking space on the grass in front of our home. Water hookup is city water, but you may love to know it is filtered through a 3 stage whole house filter so totally safe to drink! Additional hose available for rinsing sandy feet!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great option to travel with our dog. The location was convenient . We ubered to dinner a few nights and it wasnt to far. We had everything we needed.

Marsh Side Retreat

We loved staying at Kristen's place! It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood and conveniently close to Charleston. Parking our motorhome was easy, and the setup was hassle-free with water, power, and sewer hook-ups available. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Marsh Side Retreat

We were in town for a weekend soccer tourney. Location was excellent! The area was quiet for our 2 night stay. We felt safe and glad we had full hookups. We would definitely stay there again our next trip down to Charleston/James Island.

Perfect for exploring the area!

Marsh Side Retreat

Kristen's land was perfect for our needs. We wanted to experience Folly Beach and Charleston and the location was great for that. It was easy to park our rig in their driveway and hook-ups were really appreciated and also easy to use. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area. John and Kristen were responsive and very accommodating.

Marsh Side Retreat

Very good location in a quiet neighborhood, close to Folly Beach and not far from downtown Charleston. Set up was easy with having water, power, and sewer hook-ups. WiFi was also great. This spot was easy to get into as it was a straight driveway to back into with our trailer. Look forward to coming back!
