Unannounced visitors using campsite
3hrs after we arrived a group of men came on the property unannounced and took over the pool, pond and dock. They were loud, rough housing/wrestling at the pool. I begged them to stop bc one of our dogs is reactive to strangers. They stayed while drinking heavily for over 5 hours. When I called the owner, instead of apologizing and asking them to leave since we had paid to have the space, she doubled down and said we were only guaranteed the campsite as only our space and anyone else could come and use the other areas. I suggested that be added to the description since I assumed a one spot camp site meant we would be the only people using the amenities. Definitely not what we expected. We had planned to crab, swim and fish. But the unannounced visitors were there during high tide so we missed out and we were the ones who paid for those experiences.

Relax and ENJOY!
We spent a relaxing 3 days enjoying this beautiful and unique campsite. Christa is a kind and attentive host who made us feel welcome during our stay. The scenery and views are gorgeous here. It was a great choice for a peaceful weekend vacation with our puppers. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!!!

Exactly what I needed for the camper, while I visited family.

LOVED this campsite! The pool was perfect and dock and views were beautiful. There is plenty of shade close to the water to put tents or a camper. There were a lot of gnats (expected being close to the water!) but they're no big deal as long as you bring bug spray. We would 100% stay here again!

Quintessential Lowcountry!
Sanctuary, indeed. We did nothing but listen to the birds, watch the tide go in and out, and the sun rise and set. It was lovely. We are looking forward to returning.

Camping on the Marsh
Christa’s marsh-front property is absolutely beautiful! Come camp under the branches of Spanish moss covered oak trees. Walk out on the dock onto the marsh and watch the tide come and go, the sun set, and the stars come out at night.
We loved our stay and expect to be back.
