This is an excellent place! The team in Walhalla are great and friendly. Further, the scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend this area!

This host was amazing, You could tell he put a lot of work into his property and is continuing to improve it. He was response of a timely manner and greeted us on the property to show us around. Because we were the only one staying there he told us we could leave anytime the next day and not rush out which was very generous. I will definitely be staying here again.

Overall it was a great experience camping here for 2 nights. The host was great. The location is very convenient to the surrounding towns and a great jump off point to explore the nearby waterfalls, country parks and hiking trails. Be prepared to carry your stuff about a minute hike through the woods to reach the campsites. There is a creek running through the land but not the easiest to access and explore.

Thomas was super friendly and was waiting for me (with his two awesome dogs!) when I pulled onto the dirt road. He walked me down to my site and showed me around. The site was wonderful! I had plenty of places to choose where to hang my hammock and I was able to sit in peace and quiet by a fire (though Thomas did invite me to join the fire he and a friend already had going). I’ll be back for sure!

This spot was perfect for a short getaway! Close to your car but still private. Thomas was friendly and had lots of great recommendations!
