Cottage treehouse
Great location, poor A/C
This is a quirky, fun house, in a perfect location for visiting Congaree National Park. I personally wouldn’t stay here again in the summer months but would go back in a heartbeat during cooler months. The house runs on 2 mini split AC units and they cannot keep up with the heat of July. We arrived at 10pm and both units were running but only one was producing cold air, the other was frozen over completely. I shut down the frozen unit at 3am due to it making tons of noise due to ice buildup. After securing that unit, it didn’t fully thaw until 2pm the next day. After fully defrosting it produced cold air and night 2 would likely have been enjoyable but we decided to leave a day early based on the poor nights sleep the first night. As far as the AC units go, the owners do not leave the remotes for you to easily turn on/off the units, so I hope you know how to find the sneaky button or be good with Google!

Would not stay here.
We did not stay here. After we arrived and looked it over, we felt the photos were not representative of the condition in which we found this vintage trailer, and did not agree that the price was appropriate either.
