Hello and welcome to the peaceful countryside! Proud to be named HipCamp's 2022 Top 10 Properties! We are a luxury hunting lodge here in South East South Dakota and love offering people the chance to camp, park, and explore our property! We are fifth generation farmers and are so proud of our farm and of South Dakota. Ask us about guides for the way out west to the Black Hills. We have 10 acres to share and are excited to host you! On property you can find, corn crib swings, a winding enchanted path to a gazebo perfect for sunsets, a gravity wagon basketball game, a romantic lit pavillion, a balcony overlooking both Iowa and Nebraska, and fields of corn and beans! Bathrooms can be found centrally on the property, we have 2 womens, 2 mens and one family/ handicap accessible. Now with Shower AND WIFI!

Sunset Camp

Our Camping Experience at the BTR

We recently had the pleasure of camping at the Blue Tin Ranch and it was an experience that truly lived up to all the descriptions. The campsite provided a 110V outlet, which made it easy to keep our devices charged and to run a fan in the camper. We were also able to fill our camper tanks with a garden hose, which was incredibly convenient. The temperatures during our stay were mild, so we didn't need to run the A/C. A large tree provided ample shade, blocking the late afternoon and evening sun, making for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Kelly, who was warm and friendly, setting a welcoming tone for our stay. The bathrooms and shower facilities were immaculate, a testament to the care taken in maintaining the site. The availability of provided towels was a much-appreciated bonus. Overall, the Blue Tin Ranch offered a wonderful camping experience with excellent amenities and a personal touch that made our stay memorable.

Kelley's place was great. We stayed one night parked behind the barn. We loved the solitude of the fields and the fresh clean restroom and shower. Would absolutley stay again if coming through the area.

Very accommodating, super peaceful. The grounds are clean, and pet friendly. We love the egg chairs hanging up to just relax in. Bathroom and shower were clean, and nice that Kelley provided the towels.
