Site 2 - Crow Peak’s Last Best Place
May's Stay
We stay here every year. For us, it really is the best place to stay when visiting Spearfish and the surrounding area. It's far enough away from town to give you that secluded privacy yet close enough to Spearfish for easy access to shopping etc. The views are great, deer pass through every evening around dusk, and it's so peaceful. We like site 2 because of the shade from the pines around the barn and the grassy area out our front door. Our 35' class A just fits and allows us to park our small Honda in front. People with longer rigs and larger vehicles tend to prefer sites 1 and 3 which are longer and more open. All of the property and all 3 sites are very well maintained. It's really one of our favorite places to stay.

The place was quiet and beautiful! The views and access to public lands is spectacular! Not far off the beaten path either. The Phillips 66 is a gem of a place with everything you need 5 minutes away.

Site 2 - Crow Peak’s Last Best Place
This was our second stay at Crow Peak's Last Best Place. The hosts are very accommodating and their property is beautiful. If you are looking for a natural setting to relax or explore, this is the place. Site 2 is tucked in next to the barn and is shaded. Sites 1 and 3 are next to each other and would be a great spot for two camping families to share. This place is a must see if you are looking to stay near Spearfish.

Site 3 - Crow Peak’s Last Best Place
Beautiful, peaceful spot with full hookups just a few miles from town. Views from the spot are very nice. Laure was very helpful with booking. Definitely a great spot for a traveling thru or a long stay. Lots of wildlife and roads are in great shape for all size rigs.

This place is special
Laurie’s Crow Peaks Last Best Place is special. You won’t find any other RV campground as beautiful, quiet, and peaceful as this. Rolling hills, incredible walking or biking trails, golf courses all very nearby. This is our second trip here and many more to come!

Site 1 - Crow Peak’s Last Best Place
Loved it
We stayed in site 3, this was an excellent spot to camp! Full hookups, public lands a short walk from our trailer, and quick access into town (15 min).
Our hosts were incredibly kind, we had a refrigerator issue shortly after arrival and lent us a cooler and some freezer space while we dealt with fixing ours. They were also excellent communicators and their to greet us upon arrival. We also really enjoyed their friendly neighbor who would say good morning whenever he saw us on his walks.
This spot was super quiet. No freeway noise, the cows were our only immediate neighbors and my kiddos loved seeing them.
We will definitely be back next time we come thru!
