Tent camping near a pine forest
Pine tree camping - Excellent
Tent camping at this location is amazing! The location was perfect to reach all of the destinations (Custer, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, etc). The amenities were top notch. Showers and bathrooms were super clean and roomy. There is a dish washing station. I also had my dog and she had plenty of room to stretch her legs on the trails located beside the tent camping.
The staff were easily identifiable and helpful. Checkin was a breeze and Jennifer explained the checkout process. This was my favorite spot on my 2 week camping adventure!

First HipCamp Experience! ❤️
I loved the feeling of being way out in nature, yet it was very close to local amenities. Check in was simple and everyone was very friendly. Unfortunately I was only here for one night and since there was a chance of rain/storms, I decided to car camp instead of breaking out my tent. I felt spoiled having flush toilets and showers available too! My site was a little far from the nearest bathroom which worked out fine this time, but in the future I would request a closer spot. If I'm ever back in the area,I would definitely book again.

Loved staying at the campground. Travelling with family on vacation and this was a last minute booking but glad we found it. We tent camped for three nights and things were great. Very helpful staff.

Loved this campground and my daughter still talks about how it what been her favorite so far. Great for families. Chill atmosphere, Beautiful, I truly hope we can return.

Super nice people!
They were super nice people! Jennifer answered me right away when we sent a message. The place is nice with clean restrooms & showers. It was our anniversary and they gave us a free rack of firewood to help celebrate. I would definitely stay there again!
