Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, a goat, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...

Fantastic stay!
My 4yo and I had a fantastic stay at Uncle B's! Brian is such a kind and wonderful host, he even brought us fresh veggies and a coloring book for my daughter! We loved meeting the animals and relaxing on the quiet property. Will definitely return next time we're in the area!

I’m heading for Yellowstone with my son. We’re coming from the Boston area and stopped here for our second Hipcamp of the trip and my 15 Hipcamp experience. Never have I ever been greeted so warmly and welcomely! Brian met us with the rundown of the place and gave us our choice of spots and mentioned that he was going to SF for a concert that night. Before I knew it we were in his car going to the concert with him! RUKM?!! The facilities are wonderful and the bathroom was spotless . A real toilet and shower! It’s no wonder he’s the top dog in the SD Hipcamp arena! Without question this was far and above any other place I have stayed at from the app. This is the gold standard by which all others will be judged and it’s going to be a tough act to beat! Much peace and love to Brian and Lisa for hosting us at their little slice of heaven. I hope our paths cross again soon.

Great quiet property, nice privacy for most of the tent sites. Uncle B is a great host, even brought us fresh produce from his garden and s'mores fixings!

Perfect road trip stop
Perfect Hipcamp! The bathrooms are immaculate and Brian goes above and beyond to make sure everything is as convenient and comfortable as possible. If you’re driving through SD and need a place to stop for a night, I recommend this place.
