Awarded South Dakota's best Hip Camp to see in 2024, 2023, 2021, and runner up in 2022. Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, a goat, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...

Uncle B’s gots what you need!
Uncle B’s place is an absolute must-stay if you’re ever in the area. The hospitality, the passion and genuine interest, the beautiful property — clean, fun, and always friendly! Also versatile for any camping style and group size. Would stay a million times over and am confident I’d love it every time. Highly recommended stay.

Uncle B's RV Camper Site's
we stayed at Brian's farm overnight while traveling to, and from the Black Hills area of SD. Brian met us upon arrival and directed us to a nice RV site with electric and water hook-ups, and close to the bath house, which was clean, and nice having a hot shower and flush toilet available. my only suggestion would be to have paper towels at the sink so there is a way to dry your hands when you wash them. we enjoyed meeting the farm animals and one of his dogs, and waking to the rooster crowing. the sunsets were beautiful! Brian was friendly and welcoming and offered firewood for a campfire and Smore fixings. he also offered fresh produce from his garden: tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, and free range eggs from his chickens. Brian goes above and beyond to make his guests feel like that-guests, and that they are welcomed and comfortable. thank you for sharing your property!

The BEST!
This is the most welcoming, happy, comfortable, amazing hip camp I’ve ever been to. I drove all the way across the country and Uncle B’s was the best by far. Thank you for making my journey so memorable! The stars and camp fire was everything! Happy animals and fresh veggies out of the garden! He even met me at the entrance with smore fixings and treats for my little pup!

Fun place to stay!
Brian was awesome to stay with! His site in the cedar grove was quiet, private, and clean. He was very accommodating bringing us water, firewood, and veggies from his garden which made for a delicious dinner! We would definitely stay here again.

Superb farm stay
We had an amazing stay with Brian. We were greeted by the host upon arrival with a warm welcome. Brian even brought us a colouring book for my daughter, a s'mores pack, some firewood and veggies! Bathrooms/shower were clean and the camp near the pond was excellent. My daughter got to pet the three kittens and saw the baby chicks. Couldn't get her off the playground either Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer than one night.
