Peaceful healing property. We do organic gardening and have animals that you can visit with as well. I have a sculpture studio and art sales gallery that you can come check out. We've been living off the grid for over 30 years. Come visit us and learn about our way of life! Enjoy complete privacy in a cozy forest retreat hut in a beautiful hollow in Middle Tennessee. Accommodates 2. Pretty steep 200 yd uphill hike to hut. Perfect for relationship getaway, spiritual retreat, or writing - planning intensive. Nationally-known spelunking (Indian Grave Point Cave) within 1/2 mile. 3 miles from Center Hill Lake. Hiking trails. Experience our alternative lifestyle with owner built solar log home, organic gardens and sculpture studio. Guests must arrive before dark to ensure finding correct address (GPS errs at last moment) and to facilitate hike up to hut. Potable water, trash disposal, and a toilet are available on site. Beech Hollow Hideout

We had such a great time! It was exactly what we needed. William's land was beautiful and the hut was very private. The wood burning stove was so cozy and warm during the cold nights. There was a short hike nearby that was very scenic and relaxing. We came down to meet William and check out his gallery. The sculptures were amazing and a must see while you visit! He is very talented. I also loved seeing the animals on the property. Chickens and guniea were roaming around and I got to pet a very sweet goat. And Rocket was such a wonderful dog. He was very friendly and would walk up with us and visit the hut while we stayed. We will definitely be coming again.

Whimsical Retreat

We loved this magical stay!! From the moment we booked, communication and instructions were clear and plenty! The property is gorgeous and so very peaceful. William and his animals made the trip even better with their abundant kindness. Every detail was well thought out and we had everything we needed and more. The wood burning stove was the cherry on top! We were so warm and cozy in the cabin. We cooked a delicious dinner on the stove at night, and an amazing breakfast with coffee in the morning. Also, the outhouse was one of the coolest and most comfortable I have ever been in! The woodworking detail all around the property is unreal. It is truly a paradise in the woods and we will definitely be back to enjoy other seasons! We love winter camping and the weather was perfect for an outdoor afternoon and evening fire. Then it was such a bonus to come into an already warmed up cabin(my husband worked the indoor stove, while I tended the outdoor firepit). Would highly reccomend this stay to outdoor lovers everywhere!

I would go back to this spot in a heartbeat. Will and Nancy were wonderful and very gracious hosts. If you’re traveling alone Rocket the dog will gladly keep you company

The perfect weekend stay in the middle of the woods. Easy hike around the property, great little wood burning stove, and the sweetest dogs. We had everything we needed. Thank you William !
