Ellis Cove 007 Riverside Campsite
One of the quietest places I’ve ever stayed. It was off the beaten path a little but it was convenient enough for everything we wanted to do on this trip. We are planning to come back when time allows.

This location is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. It is away from the chaos but very close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay here again.

The best in the area
This was BY FAR the best camp ground we saw in the region—everything else was campers lined up butt-hole to bellybutton. We had enough space to feel like it was semi private and the stream below was absolutely loved by our GSD!

Loved the site location! Easy to find, clean with full hookups. Site 5 had great views of the Little Pigeon river, just steps away to play and fish. Appreciated dogs being able to be off leash. Host was quick to respond to texts! 10/10 recommend!

I’ll open up with our only critique. The entry way just prior to the camp area was overgrown. Definitely left some light scratches on our big rig. With that being said, Andrew said he would have the landscaping guy take care of this and I also broke most of them off on the way out.
Other than that, this RV site was a dream for us. We initially booked site 7, and another RV took our spot. Andrew and his wife immediately showed up to settle us in. They offered us any of the open sites. We ended up choosing site 5 which had an amazing river and Mountain View on both sides and the rear of the RV. The open grass area was great…our 3 kids and dog were all able to roam free. There was so much open space (and RVs and tiny homes not crammed together), we felt like we were boondocking despite having full 50 amp hookups. Andrew was a great and attentive host including figuring out our site issue out, extending our stay on the fly, giving fishing advice, and checking up on us every few days.
The camp was just over 20 minutes to the Sugarlands Visitor Center in the Smokey’s. We honestly had more fun exploring, fishing, playing with our dog, catching fireflies, and relaxing in the camp site than the park.
