Lovely farm camping location!
All of the spots on the left of their property had lovely afternoon shade and allowed us to wake to the morning sun. Patricia stopped by to make sure we were taken care of. The kids loved all of the chickens, the horses and Scooter, the farm's dog. We all went to sleep to the sight of the stars and abundant lightning bugs. Only minor downside was a fellow camper came in at midnight and left their headlights on for quite some time as they unloaded, but that had nothing to do with the hosts and everything to do with proper camping etiquette. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Absolutely worth it!
This place was magical! We arrived right before sundown and there were fire flies everywhere! The kids were mesmerized by all of it! The space was ample and we were able to get some good nights rest! In the am it is fairly sunny but just enough to get our gear fired up and pack up to leave. The bathroom is so clean and very well kept! I took a hot shower and it was amazing! I am so thankful to find this gem on the country side! It is beautiful and I highly recommend it!

My boyfriend and I couldn't have enough nice things to say about this site! Close to town, but still quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room in the shade, site was comfortable and safe, washhouse was convenient and clean. Horses were friendly and chickens were cute...roamed the acreage and took in the beautiful countryside...so much space! We had a chance to talk with Patricia, the host, and she was so warm and kind. We visited for the annual Firefly event at Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and, thanks to Patricia's guidance, got to enjoy even more synchronous fireflies at our site! We could've just enjoyed them from there, they put on such a show that we watched right from our tent. 10/10, would visit again!

The site is well maintained. There are 5 campsites on 3 levels. All have fire rings and the middle and lower levels have picnic tables and chairs. There's shade on the lower level which is by a creek and trees. There's a toilet and shower stall by the barn. Despite the road being just yards away, it was secluded and hidden from view and reasonably quiet. The grass can be slick and driving up from the middle and bottom levels to leave can be tricky. That was the only drawback and after leaving the middle area to get ice I moved to the top area and didn't have any problems after that. I would stay there again.
