West Tennessee Hideout
Not for the weak!
The site is nice for hammock camping! I would not recommend sleeping in the bed and tent provided. Pretty ate up in there! The privacy from people is nice! But you will not be alone. There is plenty of wildlife that will come check up on you in the middle of the night. If you hear fighting and splashing in the river in the middle of the night, dont go looking.

Not for you!.
Probably not for you!!!
We asked the host before renting if anything was needed beyond what was needed for a hotel, and he said just food and beverages. He neglected to mention that there were no toilets. Also, he said that we could get there in a four wheel drive Subaru Forester. I walked down the rugged trail for couple blocks to find that the last block or so was about a 30° slope with 9 inch diameter rocks in the trail which would have wrecked our car. The expectation is that you park there and then carry all your gear down this very steep hill that's quite hard to walk on even empty handed because of all the loose rocks and soil from people driving on it. There is no alternate route. That meant hiking the trail three times to get our stuff to the site and then three more times to get it all out. For us it wasn't worth it. I would not even consider it, if you don't have a vehicle that has a very high clearance and can climb 30° hills. Also, you likely won't be leaving up that hill if it is not very dry, so watch the weather!
There is no way to turn around on the trail till the end, so you will need to back out.
The trail is just two tracks through the grass.
Further, he will keep the rent and cleaning fee if you decide not to attempt it. I am not sure why he would think he is entitled to keep the cleaning fee when we didn't stay there, but he did.
I thought it was strange that there were no reviews after 3 years of renting, I still do. Well, there is one now...

Nice site but……..
So me and a group went to this glamping site thinking that we could just drive the jeep right up to it because the description clearly said 4wd required. Well after loading up we get there, call the host only to find out that we could only park right by the swing set and we would have to walk to the site. Okay no big deal maybe the drive way isn’t cut (grass and gravel) we were quick to find out that this apparent short walk was actually a down hill hike for at least a half of a mile down a rocky road to the site. After getting there with everything we thought we would need again quickly found out that the camp shower, camp toilet, etc were not needed because this site already had it also in the pictures from what most can see, the river is level with the site well I know that this may not be the owners fault but I’ll tell anyone who goes here it’s not level and you will slip trying to climb down the ledge trying to get in to the river. I just think that there should be an updated description of this site so no one else is quick to find out that everything they prepared for isn’t needed and be ready for the long walk down and back to camp
