We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. We have a pool that is available to rent privately during your stay. You can use the Swimply app to book your time or you can message us through HipCamp, and we can set that up for you. Embracing farm life is not just an adventure but also a valuable learning opportunity, whether you're a family or an individual seeking a taste of the countryside lifestyle. We hope to see you soon on the farm!

Nestled Farm Yurt
The yurt and farm are both so beautiful and peaceful, while still being incredibly close to everything Chattanooga has to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the toilets were, they were incredibly clean. My one issue is that it was a bit difficult to find exactly which tap had the potable water because it isn’t labeled.

Tranquil Farm Yurt - Mountain View
Glamping in Helene! 2024
We had a unique experience here at Quail Run Farm! We booked a few weeks in advance and just so happened it landed on the weekend hurricane Helene came through. We came on down and rode out the storm in a room and proceeded to the farm the following day. We arrived the next day and found our yurt 3 completely unharmed and dry inside after the storm! We also came with our 3 yo son, there was plenty of things to see and do on the farm from the big white dog to chickens, hearing and seeing the horses run, to purchasing local produce! Our yurt 3 was up a semi steep hill and my mommy mobile made it up fine at first but would recommend an atv or 4wd to park up the camp if raining! Bring a pop up wagon it was a life saver. The bath house was a little walk down from the yurt 3 & was awesome even though we didn’t use it because it was raining and they also have a sauna!! We ended up bringing a $20 Temu pop up compost toilet to keep from having to walk up and down the incline! (Make sure you dispose of your compost properly if you do this) We also brought a 5gal water jug and pump for camp to wash dishes and bathe off just in case! They provided silverware, cooking utensils and plates but we also brought our own! The beds were comfortable and dry! Even though it rained on and off our whole trip we were really surprised at the quality of the yurts! The Riley’s were very responsive and even refunded our first night due to the hurricane! All and all it was a great experience!

Farm Tiny Home #3 - 15 min to Chatt
We had a wonderful family vacation in Chattanooga. Quail Run Farm was even better than we had hoped for! The tiny house was perfect and very convenient for trips to the city, Ruby Falls, etc. We will definitely be back.

Farm Camp 10 min from Chattanooga
Our campint experience was great. Pleanty of options as far as where to set up camp. Beautiful surroundings, helpful farm manager, lots of cute animals to check out, and the best outhouse/outdoor shower combo. We'd definitely stay at the farm again. Only downside would be the ants, but not much that can be done about that.

Beautiful Farm. Perfect Campsite.
Quail Run is a gorgeous, very active farm with lots of space. There is a wide variety of camping choices and lots to explore. The farm animals are happy and healthy. The amenities are thoughtful and just what I needed. I camped in a peaceful pasture that was also close enough to the bathrooms and shower. Great Hipcamp experience. Thanks Joseph!
