Site 12 - South Suckcreek Camp Chattanooga TN
Visited by myself for a quick getaway. It felt private and safe. Site was pretty easy to find. It’s definitely dispersed camping. The roads were fine for my 2wd Sportage, but there was one hill I was reluctant to try without 4wd. Very cool rock formations with thick lichen patches. As another review mentions there is some construction noise - however, I didn’t find it too bothersome as it’s far off in the distance. Still saw and heard lots of different birds!

Site 8 - South Suckcreek Camp Chattanooga TN
Our stay was great! We arrived a little after dark and picked a campsite near the top of the hill. The gravel drive was steep and bumpy, but we made it in and out just fine in our awd van and saw a small sedan leaving one morning as well. We came during the week and during a few cold days so we didn’t run into other campers. Perfectly still and quiet. It’s near some of our favorite climbing spots so we’ll definitely stay here in the future!

We camped on a Sunday night and had one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. Brought our off grid off road camper and had no trouble backing into site #8.

Very private location set far back in the woods. The sites were a bit close, probably nice for a group tho. Billy’s and his wife April were kind and very responsive, even asking if I needed more firewood once I was setup. Many thanks to April for giving me a lift around the property to find the “perfect spot!” Was absolutely beautiful.. just wish I had more time to stay and enjoy. Would love to visit again!
