Site 3 - The River Life
I feel misled
While the site itself is nice, it’s not nearly as secluded or separate from the other sites as described. I spoke with the host to reiterate that fishing was the key component to my trip. She assured me this was the case. However, upon seeing the river itself, it’s almost completely covered with large rocks with hardly any depth at all. Practically un-fish able especially with the swift current. While the natural low of a river is not the fault of the host, some honesty on the matter would’ve been appreciated. Also the campground itself is essentially right on the other side of a highway, so all day and night you hear traffic and machinery.

Yaasss!
Kelly's property has many camping styles available, a nice bath house with two rooms, each with a flushing toilet and shower. We loved our stay, enjoyed the river and views and definitely want to go again. Kelly is very kind and responded quickly whenever I messaged- pre-trip and during the trip. Keep in mind the river height/depth (?) fluctuates, or you might lose any items left on the shore- we were lucky and kind campsite neighbors saved our mandolin, chairs, and tippl

Breathing taking view
I pulled up to the camp site in awe, beautiful scenery! Kelly came by to introduce herself and made sure everything was okay. I thought that spoke volumes and really appreciated it. The river at night puts off a cool breeze and the sound of the water will have you sleeping like a king.

Site 1 - The River Life
Camping with the whole family
Wow what a beautiful place and at a convenient location.
Just off 40 and in your own private paradise.
We were looking for a nice primitive spot to camp with the kids and dogs.
Kelly was very welcoming and was super understanding when I made the mistake of booking one night instead of two.
Oops!
We stayed at site 1 and it was perfect for the kids.
This is the exact type of campsite we look for when finding a spot.
Real camping right on the river!
We can’t wait to be back!
