Beautiful area. So peaceful. Customer service was A+. Cabin was clean, comfortable and nice for a couple of days to relax. The lagoon was only a few steps away from the cabin. We rented late week so we had it all to ourselves since kids have went back to school. Doriana was gracious to let us bring our little dogs and they absolutely loved their trip with us. We will definitely come back and recommend the campground to anyone.
100% transparency. Hostess was great. Cabins left some to be desired and things seemed thrown together. Obviously in the woods there are insects that infiltrate the cabins. Air worked well. Fans provided. Cabin still hot but the weather was ridiculously hot. I wish the fisherman's cabin had a full bath or that the outdoor shower had some type of covering. Lagoon was beautiful but a little difficult to enter. River access left a lot to be desired and just seemed to be party central. If you're single this is a great place. Family stay not so much. We left a day earlier than we booked through.
Doriana was an amazing host. The property was very well kept and we could pitch our tent anywhere we saw fit. It's a 5 min walk down to the Red River and the water was about 3ft at the deepest when we visited. The property has clean toilets and shower facility with hot water. Doriana and her husband even took us around on their ATV to the closest vantage point. We had both our dogs with us and they had a wonderful time as well. There were a bunch of the owners dogs on the property and were super friendly. We definitely plan on coming back.
The property is nice. The owner is awesome. It is not really set up for tent camping, but they’re working on it. There are not tent pads, picnic tables or poles for trash or lanterns.
