Elena’s place was very easy to find. We camped one night there for New Year’s Eve and you could easily walk to The High Sierra or Boathouse.

Elena's campsite was easy to find and in a great location for exploring the ghost town. It felt safe and was everything you need for a basic overnight stop.

Experience the magic of Terlingua
Great location! You are in the heart of Terlingua, close to some great restaurants and the road. Elena was super helpful and friendly. At first I was a little nervous about finding all the camping slots full in Big Bend National Park, but looking back Terlingua was definitely the right place for my 3 day trip as I got to return to town, get gas, groceries, and explore restaurants and the state park. I look forward to returning here next season!

This place is awesome - far enough back from the road to be away from traffic, but close enough to Terlingua to walk into town. Elena is a great host and is super accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here. The stars are unbeatable :)

Good campground layout, but you’re also sharing with RVs. Campground was clean and free of rocks which was great! There weren’t any while we were there so it wasn’t a big deal. I’d recommend using Apple Maps to get there because Google took us to the other side of the road.
