Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 acre estate nestled between quite country houses and a very active horse ranch next door to the east. Rescue horses are also kept on the property in rotation. Much of the camping here is still a work in progress! So for now, a very private economical choice for campers! The central building has indoor lodging available and the side bathroom with indoor toilet / washer / dryer may be used by campers as well. A new outdoor shower is under construction. As of April 2024, the outdoor shower stall is 95% complete and usable but swimwear is required because we have not finished filling in the slots between the wood fence panels. Please ignore old photos of the shower tent. I'm working to remove them as I find them. The dump station is not available at this time pending reconstruction, hopefully in May 2024. Please use the free dump stations on I-35 near Natalia on either side of the highway.

Friendly place to stay

We stayed for 3 nights at Micheal beautiful campground, we loved the Lord of the ring theme and the whimsical lights all around the campground, it 2as easy to work with Micheal and the little issues we have has been addressed quickly. Safe place to stay. I would stay here again if we ever around. Aissam and Shannon from Georgia.

New campground - working out bugs

Michael is a total sweetheart and working hard to get this new campground up and running. Sweet vibe! Many delightful touches, such as nighttime fairy lighting in the trees, fantasy/sci fi character cutouts to identify camp sites, and flicker lighting in the dark, simulating torch lighting. Needing improvement is electrical — extension cords to multiple sites are unsafe for multiple users with high energy demands such as RVs and tent campers using hot plates. The campground is also close to a busy road — it’s quiet at night but traffic picks up again during the morning commute. We wish Michael and Everfree Shire Ranch the best in their endeavors!
