Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full, as of May water is to low to dive). No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. No Wi-Fi or television service at this time. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. There are various life jackets and floats available. Use best judgment, safety measures and laws required in TX. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. Fishing Guidelines per visit: Bass 10”-14” keep, limit 10, Crappie limit 10, Catfish are catch and release for now, Bluegill (I call them perch) limit 10. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles set up in screened in porch. Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is 1 full size bed in bedroom 1, 1 queen size bed in bedroom 2, a full blowup mattress and a twin sized blowup mattress. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full-as of June not deep enough yet for diving). Lawn chairs, outdoor furniture, baby swing on back deck. No food stocked, you’ll have to bring it. 10 minutes from Stephenville. 3 miles from County Store. Linens, towels, toilet paper provided. No other toiletries. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Host located across lake, may be on lake and available as needed. Wi-Fi available, television service. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available mostly kid movies. Pets are welcome for extra fee as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. Little Off Lake House

Great fishing from back porch

An amazing property and great host. We had a great time in the peace and quiet. The fishing was very good (14.44, 10, 5 and other pounds catfish. 6, 6, 5 and other bass. Tons of bluegill so even the little kids will enjoy the fishing). We loved it and can’t wait to visit again!!

Little Off Lake House

Best place ever

Best fishing I've had in 40 years. Extremely comfortable place. Hosts are kind salt of the earth people...and go out of their way for you. My entire family fell in love with the lake house and the entire place. We will not only be back but back often. When I say best fishing I mean it... We caught huge perch, lots of crappie, catfish, and bass. The catfish was biggest I've ever reeled in.it was close to twenty lbs and brother caught a largemouth bass that was probably 7-8 lbs. This place is special. The owners are special. Just wait because there's tons to enjoy from the wildlife to the farm animals. The best of all is the lake dog Zippy. You're looking to unwind? Look no further and you will see. Little off Lakehouse is an absolute treasure.

Let me tell you!

The most beautiful and relaxing place you can go for some peace and quiet, not to mention the best fishing. The owners are super friendly made us feel like part of the family highly recommend it, this was our 3rd trip back and let me tell you I'll be back again later this year. Can't wait definitely 5 stars.

Little Off Lake House

Such an amazing place. My family absolutely loves it there (and when my 7 yr old lost her dead tablet right at checkout time the owners didn't freak out and after about 15 minutes we were able to find it).

Little Off Lake House

Absolutely loved it! Beautiful place, the cabin was so nice and cool and had anything you needed. The host was so sweet and checked in on us. The fishing was great and to be able to fish off the back deck was wonderful! Watching the excitement of my 82 year old Mom as she caught numerous fish was priceless. Memories to last a lifetime!
