No open flames, you can have a propane fire and gas grill.Country setting, off a paved road. The site has an RV pad 40 x 23, gravel. It mostly shaded in the afternoon. It is surrounded by different kinds of trees and cedar. We have birds and deer. Your pet has to be on a leash at all times. The site accommodates up to a 60 foot RV with full hook ups. We are close to : Lampasas, 12 miles, Temple 40 minutes, HEB 12 miles, Austin 1.5 hours Ft. Cavazos 25 minutes. No wood burning only propane grill and fire pit. Very peaceful setting
