The Texas Music River Ranch is 111 acres located in the quaint village of Webberville, Texas, only 20 miles east of downtown Austin. The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River. Swim, kayak, or canoe...but there’s no better way to beat the legendary Texas heat than by grabbing an inner tube and enjoying a calm, steady float along a river known for an abundance of fossils and its wildlife. Bring your own tubes, kayaks and canoes, we are currently replenishing our inventory. Or perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree-lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River. We're kid and dog friendly and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available onsite A few rules... 1. Camping with off leash dog area!
This is my second time visiting the camp site with my family. The camp site is off leash dog area so it was perfect for my dog’s 1 year birthday. Easy to access to water for kayaking! My dog enjoyed swimming! Fantastic place if you have a well mannered dog!

VIP RV SITE 1 ALL HOOKUPS NO SEWAGE
NO HOOKUPS! NOT ACTUALLY AN RV SITE
NO HOOKUPS! NOT ACTUALLY AN RV SITE! We arrived to the Texas Music River Ranch and immediately had trouble discerning if we were in the right place. Minimal signage and wayfinding with roads that went multiple directions had us confused. We eventually found the “office”, which was among a dilapidated collection of sheds and outbuildings without obvious signage. They directed us to our site down near the river, but upon seeing the site, it was clearly not meant for RVs. It was overgrown, with a dilapidated picnic table. There were no hookups in sight, and when I returned to the office to inquire about hookups, the attendant was confused and said he would send someone down. About 20 minutes later when someone came, they informed us that the only power and water available was at a pole directly behind the office (not attached to any of the RV sites). He told us that these sites were not even intended as RV sites, which was obvious given the lack of an RV pad. Thankfully the weather was temperate enough that we decided we could get by without hookups for the night. I messaged the host through Hipcamp and have still yet to get a response over 24 hours later. We are working to get at least a partial refund. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this property. It was junky with all sorts of sheds and debris, not maintained and overgrown, and clearly not very organized. If you decide to camp here, know that there are absolutely not RV spots with hookups, despite what the listings say.

VIP Campsite 1
Tent camp sites were not kept clean, and upkept. I’ve specifically booked their VIP campsite 1 spot to enjoy the water/river, but the path was full of heavy vegetation so our little one was disappointed and we didn’t get to enjoy the river. Also, their portable restrooms seemed like they haven’t been picked up for a while, but a good thing I’ve prepared to take our camping toilet and utility tent for the family to use instead.

Campsite 4 - Texas Music River Ranch Campgrounds
Never Again
Reserved 1 campsite months before our stay in April 2024. Positives - nothing Negatives- Unkempt camping area Non-working showers (no showers for the stay) Most disgusting porta potties Selling half burnt/ wet firewood One staff member around on day 1 of 4 and was told she didn't know how to access our reservation via her phone and if we could show her the confirmation on ours. Their concept of a chilled relaxing layed back atmosphere should be what they want for the patrons not literally the actions of the host.

TMR SITE 2 Electric& Water
Not what we were expecting.
To reach the campground you go down a dirt road that is at times a single lane. The signs were a little confusing but we found the office area. We rented a RV campsite that said it included 30 amp electricity and water. When we arrived, this seemed to be a confusing request. Most of their sites have no hookups and are are down along the river. The river camping sites look to be beautiful sites for tent camping. Eventually we were placed behind some buildings that looked like storage buildings with a view of a big brush pile. The site was a relatively flat RV pad to park on. We initially had trouble with electricity cutting out and coming back. Apparently the RV plug is on the same circuit as the storage buildings. This seemed to be resolved but we were careful not to run our air conditioner or microwave very much. There was a water spigot but it was further away than our drinking water hose would reach. They offered to let us use a regular garden hose but I decided against it. Instead I use the water tank on my RV. I did use The spigot as a resource to refill my tank. The general feel was very rustic. The river is nearby. We slept well and saw many birds including a big owl. We didn't see the staff after we checked in, but the staff was helpful. Will I stay here again? Maybe. Will I recommend it to others? With some reservation.
