Perfect spot for what we were looking for. Simple side of the road, dry/no frills campsite on Janet's field, which was easy to find and made for a good night's rest while passing through. Checked out the hot springs nearby, only 5-7 min drive, definitely recommend. Janet was very responsive and kind!
The spot we stayed wasn't intended for tent camping but Janet let us set up our tent anyway. She was extremely flexible and helpful. We ended up getting in pretty late and she was awesome! Definitely a better spot for an RV!
Our stay on Janet’s farm was fabulous. We booked her place to watch the October 2023 solar eclipse and couldn’t be happier with the location. Janet went above and beyond as a host. She was super responsive to our many questions. Her children were sweet and helpful too. The fire pit with very comfy seating was an added bonus for an evening of ambiance and stars. She even sent us off the next day with fresh produce from her garden. We highly recommend Janet’s farm for your next Hipcamp adventure!
Janet was absolutely wonderful. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive to our needs. The property itself is beautiful and felt safe and comfortable. The alpacas on the neighboring property and the chickens on this property were super cool too. Would recommend to anybody looking for a great place to camp out!
