Red Desert RV Park has expanded to 55 full hookup RV sites along with 14 cabins. We are geared towards outdoor adventurists and sightseers wanting a cost-effective stay while taking advantage of everything Moab has to offer! We are locally owned by a family of 8 and love calling Moab our home. We understand the corporate overtaking that Moab has had in the last 5 years and plan to keep our campground affordably priced and locally owned. We have upgraded the old site plan from 7 RV sites to 55 Full Service RV sites this year. Most sites are pull through but we will have some back-ins. Our new bathhouse has a laundry, women's bathrooms and showers, men's bathrooms and showers, and an ADA compliant family style bathroom. In addition to the new bathhouse, we have a new office and retail store where we sell souvenirs, RV supplies, snacks, drinks, ice, firewood, and other necessities for guests. We do not currently have propane fill on site. We know that there are many options to choose from when it comes to staying in Moab. We urge people to support locally owned businesses that help Moab grow and solve problems that exist in our community. Moab is a recreation mecca with something for everyone and our little campground on the south end of the valley puts you within minutes of town, the mountains, and the red deserts around Moab.

RV02) RV Site - Pull Through
Easy access to the town and Arches National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the laundry machines were free and the bathroom/showers were sparkling clean. Will definitely stay here again and I would recommend for anyone traveling to the area.

RV05) RV Site - Pull Through
We appreciated Reed's kindness and communication. This was a plus for us as we were attempting to explore this area for the first time while navigating the heat plus mechanical issues with our van.

Overflow (No Hookups)
Full story in my other review. But it's all good... I'd come back.

RV01) RV Site - Pull Through
They upgraded my site and also asked the tenants of the cabin adjacent to my site to turn off the patio party lights so stargazing became more possible. Nice, clean showers and friendly staff. Just wish it wasn't right on the highway.

NOT for tent camping
This review is for tenters: We booked a tent site for May 2024, only a few months into this site being open for RVs and campers. I see they are advertising primarily for RVs now which is good because this is site is NOT FOR TENT CAMPING. We were one of two tent campers there that we saw and they had placed us on a gravel lot directly by the highway. We were up all night due to the smell of car fumes and sounds of highway traffic. This place is fine for RVs and has a very clean, new bathroom. However, it was a terrible night in an honestly very dangerous location for tent campers to sleep, approximately 10 feet from the highway.

Love the new shower house!!
Great place, not too fancy except for the new shower house! It’s one of the best I’ve ever used! Nothing is better when you are hot sweaty and sandy than a nice shower!! We didn’t notice the road noise with our AC running. We’ll definitely stay here again.
