Welcome to Red River Camp! Our camp sites highlight the beautiful red cliff backdrop infamous in southern Utah. Only 10 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park!
Come relax and stay the night before you go out to hike, sight see, climb, off-road, fish etc. The opportunity for adventure is endless.
Our family built the Red River Ranch many years ago and we are excited to share the beautiful surroundings with people that share our love for the outdoors.
Guests will have a private camp site and access to their own fire pit, shared picnic table, shared trash, and shared toilet. No access to water, electricity, or sewer. Cell phone service should work great!
You are paying for what you get. Simple amenities but a decent sized campground. Ground is tent ready without holes or rocks you have to work around! Instructions make it easy to find. Beautiful views of the stars at night!
The campsite was beautiful there was just no where to walk around and the sites were very close together and small. We were the only ones there so it was very nice but if it was full the one lunch table might’ve been difficult!
This place is unreal. Beautiful. And the location being so close to Capitol Reef was a nice plus. We would love to stay again when we are back in Utah.
Beautiful spot, had the campsite all too ourselves. Quite windy on our second day so opted to eat breakfast in Torrey (Chuckwagon opensbat 7!) as our stove kept blowing out. Would recommended.
We could not go on the camping trip because my Father In-Law got bumped up unexpectedly on his Cancer Surgery and we had to stay close to town to house sit their dogs. We had contacted the Host just short of the week deadline to see if he would credit us so we could move the reservation to a different time or get a refund. I contacted him through the HipCamp System and messaged him in the app personally.
This guy never bothered to message us back or even take the time to do anything. Zero communication at all. Then we got a notice from HipCamp saying he had rejected our request for moving the reservation or a refund 3 days later.
Then we got the automated notices of the rules of his property. Which at this point was just rude.
I would never recommend this guy or his sites. Zero Stars! His lack of communication at all is completely disrespectful and rude. If he would have at least communicated and not just took our money and run I would have maybe tried to stay there again.
The Father In-Law made it through the Cancer surgery by the way. He’s not out of the Woods but at least healing.
