Overall, The Boneyard was an awesome place to stay. John was a helpful host, leading us to the campsite and setting us up with a big bonfire.
The site itself was was rough around the edges, but set upon a gorgeous valley overlook. It was a very private space, with epic views and fantastic star gazing.
Be prepared for a rough quarter mile drive up a bumpy dirt road & being set within bear country.
If you are hoping for a private stay within Utah's backwoods, look no further.

Wouldn’t stay here again
Tent · With pets
I would not recommend staying here. The host was not welcoming. Even though they called and asked what cars we would be driving to meet us they “didn’t see us” and we were left waiting for an hour at a gas station they told us to meet at. The camp had lots of garbage, loose nails, and wasn’t a good location for our animals. The listing mentioned a picnic table, potable water, showers, cooking equipment, and a clean toilet all which was not available.

Great Host
Tent · With pets
We unfortunately couldn’t make this trip due to so many reasons. John was amazing at communicating and allowing us to push our trip back and back again. He offered so many options to help our situation. Great host. Hopefully one day to see his land. Looks amazing
