Enjoy the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont as you relax and unwind at our modern homestead. Located high on a hillside in Walden, Vt this is the perfect place to soak in the spectacular view of the Green Mountains and the clear night sky. Enjoy the quiet solitude, take leisurely walks on the trails in our woods and enjoy snowshoeing in the winter. We boast open meadows, an apiary, and a beautiful orchard. The sunsets here are truly amazing!
Angela’s property is dreamy, a beautiful landscape of 95 acres overlooking the Green Mountains of Vermont. A perfect stop while traveling through the Northeast Kingdom. She is a delightful host, greeted me upon arrival and welcomed my dogs, and we enjoyed a peaceful, quiet evening in a gorgeous, remote landscape. Highly recommend her place if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful hilltop setting with incredible views.
We stayed for one night as car campers in an SUV. The spot is a parking space in the driveway, but we didn’t need anything besides a place to safely park. It is so pretty on top of the mountain! We arrived late at 9pm, and Angela came out to meet us. I was blown away by the view the next morning. Great stop on our way between New Hampshire and Vermont. Very windy, cold on our night but we stayed warm. Would stay again. Thank you!
Beautiful sunset view of the Green Mountains from a hilltop farm. Angie greeted us with style and warmth. Made us right at home. We were in a class B mh and parked at a broad spot in her nearly level drive. Beautiful omnimax view of the heavens and surrounding ridges flaming with maple trees. We stayed one night in transit snd bugged out early. Wished we could say our byes. Thanks for the great spot. Well done.
Absolutely beautiful property!! Angela was very pleasant. My stepmother and I bombarded her with our 4 dogs that were full of energy after the long car ride from Wisconsin (Heading to Maine) wrighting this review once in Maine and we both have mentioned more than once we should have stayed at the hipcamp. As it was definitely better than our Maine experience.
We were able to camp where we wished (close to the driveway is where we chose) our dogs had a blast running the field and treeline looking for any wildlife that existed. I would like to come back someday but will stay a few days next time. Highly recommend to everyone!
My brothers came to camp during the 2024 eclipse and were not disappointed. Angie was a great host and the views are also great! To the west are the Mountains of Vermont around Stowe and to the east are the White Mountains of New Hampshire which are viewable with a thirty-minute walk. There is very little light pollution I did not need to wait for my eyes to adjust to see the stars outside the tent. Angie also included a portable toilet without extra charge which helped a lot! We had a good time and will probably be coming back.
