Mars Hotel Tent
I recently stayed at the Mars Hotel Tent at Grateful Acres in West Dover, Vermont, and it was an exceptional experience. Host Stephenie had put a lot of thought into making our stay lovely, comfortable, and memorable. The tent was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, with top-notch amenities including a cozy bed, a small kitchenette, and a private outdoor area with a fire pit. Stephenie was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A highlight was the stunning night sky, which allowed us to capture great photos of the Milky Way. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an outdoor adventure, the Mars Hotel Tent at Grateful Acres is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Daydream Cabin
Excellent host, location, comfort
Daydream cabin was perfect to escape the wind and monsoon for us! We appreciate the lights and wash tub added this year. Host was also kind enough to checkup on us via text when the storm raged. One of these times we will get to enjoy some fair weather here :)

Green meadows and mountain views
Great, secluded location with views of the mountains on both sides. Surrounded by meadows with beautiful wildflowers by day and twinkling fireflies at night. Huge grassy site with plenty of room to spread out, including a picnic table and fire ring. Shade umbrella was a nice touch and much appreciated, since our visit was during an unexpected heat wave. Would definitely stay here again!

Daydream Cabin
Grateful for Daydream Cabin
What a magical place! When an impending thunderstorm upended my camping plans, the Daydream cabin offered me cozy, dry refuge. The bed was comfy, and the cabin included thoughtful, homey touches. The outhouse was clean and, believe it or not, attractive inside. After the storm, highlights of my one-night stay included a gorgeous sunset over the mountains, a gigantic rainbow over my cabin, an orange salamander in the grass, and hundreds of fireflies after dark under the nearly full moon. Though I am not a Deadhead myself, I felt very welcome here and would happily return!

Great Weekend!
Stephanie's campground is located on the best lot in Somerset Vermont! If you are looking for beautiful 360 degree views of mountains and open fields, you cannot beat the location. The night sky is also amazing because of the openness of the land and the lack of light pollution (due to it being in the middle of the Green Mountain National Forest). We talked with Stephanie and her son during our two night stay. They are wonderful people and take pride in making their campsite the best experience for everyone. They personally built the cabins / outbuildings, each of which is clean, beautifully decorated, and made with rough cut lumber that looks and smells fantastic. There are no power lines in Somerset at all, but the campground was perfectly lit with various solar powered lights at key locations (namely, markers for each site and at each of the three composting toilets/outhouses). The four of us loved it and will be back many more times. Thank you Stephanie for being a great host!! We look forward to seeing you and your son again next month!
