Handlewood
Rolling hills and big sky
Louella and her husband were so wonderful. Their land is beautiful. We were on the edge of the wood and could enjoy the rolling hills all around. We could also see the hot air balloons. The site is really well thought out. The picnic table, wood “shed” and fire ring are just perfect. Water is even provided to put out your embers. The hot shower is new and really nice. Outhouse is very clean. The site is close enough to Burlington but far enough away. We enjoyed biking, and paddling. Of course the local beer and food is yummy. Would absolutely return again and again. PS the wood holder holds wine bottles quite nicely.

Pride Rock at Harold's View Farm
Just what you expect out of VT <3
Louella's land offers wonderful views in a peaceful setting. Campsites are very private and farm offers all necessary amenities - clean port-a-potty, outdoor shower, firewood. Louella is very friendly and welcoming. Her land offers a night in nature with picturesque sunrise and sunset views while having proximity to Burlington and Stowe activities. We would definitely stay again!

Hemlock Canvas Tent
What a beautiful plot of land Louella has, we stayed here last year at madines site and we loved it so much we came back. This year stayed at the hemlock tent which was amazing. Louella is an awesome host and is very sweet, she has eggs and firewood available at the house for a small fare and she has a very clean campground. Would recommend to family and friends stay here if you can it’s a beautiful secluded camping experience.

This is our 2nd time staying here within a months time. It is so peaceful and the views are the best. We love being just close enough to things if needed but far away for the peace and quiet. The hosts are amazing and always attentive to us while we visit.

Pete's Lookout
I loved camping at Pete’s outlook! It felt pretty secluded, there’s a hot shower right next to the structure and a clean port a potty a 30 second walk away. The view was absolutely amazing. I originally booked a single night but as soon as we got there, I saw the next night was also available and knew I had to book that as well. This was only about 25 min from Burlington and had good food options within a 10 min drive. I would 100 percent stay here again. Nothing beats being able to just wake up and see this view from bed.
