With 1,000 acres of wilderness terrain, a dozen secluded campsites and numerous cabins, lean-tos and shelters to suit your needs, Mt. Norris is big enough for any private event but perfect for your family or group. Ascend the 1,482-foot vertical 5-mile round trail to the summit of Mt. Norris or carve your own path in snow shoes or cross country skis to the shores of Lake Eden. We have 75 years of experience helping introduce families to the outdoors. Camel's Hump Village
A true hidden gem!
Camel’s hump is just one of the lovely spots here at Mount Norris Scout Reservation. The cabins are all filled with bunk beds and a couple of plugs ins to charge your essentially. Also, you’ll find a light in each cabin so no need to use the lantern inside. Add on the fact that the park ranger, Eric, is one of the best hosts we’ve come across, Mount Norris Scout Reservation is a hidden gem and should be visited by anyone driving through the mountains of Northern Vermont. P.s. my family has officially stayed in multiple sites at the campground for 3 weeks in a row now and will be extending for another week. Simply put, this place is amazing!

Belvedere
Group of 10 at the Belvidere site
We recently stayed at the Belvidere site right by the water, and it was an incredible experience! The campsite itself was huge, providing plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. One of the highlights was the beautiful lake, where we spent our days canoeing, kayaking, and even fishing. It was a perfect spot for water activities and relaxation. The campsite was well-equipped with firewood available for a cozy bonfire each evening. The bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, with the bonus of hot water showers, which was a nice touch after a long day outdoors. We were also offered ice whenever we needed it, which added to the convenience. Overall, Camping Belvidere provided a perfect blend of outdoor adventure and comfort. Whether you're looking to enjoy some water activities or just relax by the fire, this campsite has it all. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into nature!

Lake Front Camping!
Its a nice Cabin and the Ranger Eric was really helpful in arranging the things and giving us Dining hall for group gathering due to bad weather
