Mountain home tent sites sits on a nearly 200 acre historic hill farm in Tunbridge, VT. If you are looking for a quiet, private, and breath taking space to camp, look no further! Over the years the farm has undergone many changes, but dairy farming has been a consistent activity. Still actively farmed as Fledgling Farmstead, our farm is home to cows, sheep, chickens, goats, fruit trees, and a veggie and herb CSA and farm store. We also host workshops and on-farm events including the annual music, arts and food festival called Fledge Fest held at the camp site location each summer. Find more information on our website! The forest is actively managed for firewood and saw logs. The land is incredibly diverse from a high exposed hill top to a deep a forested mountain brook and everything in between. Come pitch your tent on a remote hill top surrounded by amazing views and nearly two hundred acres of diverse forests and pasture lands. The camp sites are private from each other with a large common area at the top of the hill with a fire pit, lean-to shelter, outhouse complex with water for hand washing (seasonally available) and sweeping views of the Green Mountains. There are trails for hiking and mountain biking (no dirt bikes or ATV's) all over the farm and a beautiful brook in a sheltered mountain valley. Just a 5 minute drive to the bottom of the hill is the first branch of White River; a beautiful clean river for swimming and fishing crossed by multiple covered bridges that lead to the farm. We hope you will come visit the farm and enjoy the remote mountainous beauty of Tunbridge!

Such a nice campsite! It was a hike up but absolutely worth it. And we are delicious plums from the farm store!

Woods edge (Site 1)
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this campsite. It was the first destination on a big roadtrip and it was well worth the stop. The views and scenery are beautiful, the individual campsites are nicely secluded, and the hosts have done a great job create a real homey, village like aesthetic to the public gathering area. The host was very kind and helpful, even going out of his way to assist us with an issue on the day of our departure. We Highly recommend this spot, as we would love to go back again ourselves! :)

Beautiful site!
Amazing site! Super well maintained and very private. Loved the common area and the beautiful views of the mountains. The sites were a nice size with easy access to the composting toilets. This is def top 3 campsites we’ve ever camped at through HipCamp.

Great spot!
I loved site 1 “woods edge” campsite! It was perfect for me and my dog with it being covered and plenty of trees to tie her lead to. Evan was great, and brought eggs and wood to my site before arriving even though I added them late ** listen to the 4wheel drive recommendation ** My toxic trait is thinking I can drive my Kia Soul like a truck 😅 and she was a struggling girl going up the wooded road to the site. So yeah, maybe listen to that 😂 All in all I would shapely recommend staying at Evans place! Everything was wonderful

Cherry Glen (Site 2)
Amazing Hipcamp and cool host. All of the sites are large and extremely private. Site 2 had a perfect mix of sun and shade. If you're into birding, don't forget your binoculars. From my site, I was able to see a scarlet tanager, an indigo bunting, and four different types of warblers. The site abuts the woods and at dusk you can hear hermit thrush song echoing through the trees. Such a sweet spot. Also, don't forget to add the farm fresh eggs, the veggie box, and a couple bundles of firewood.
