Explore 10 acres of undistrubed forested land. Encounter creeks and streams, forage for mushrooms and take a rest on soft moss or fallen pine needles. Practice your tracking skills by finding the path straight through the woods taken by many deer and other woodland creatures. Nights bring a star filled sky and hoots from nearby owls. You can pitch a tent in wooded clearings or wander deeper into the forest and find your own special spot. You'll have privacy, peace and quiet aside from the sounds of the trees and chirps of the birds! When rain has come you will find many creaks and streams running througout the land.Pitch your tent in clearings between tall pines with adequate space for campfires, slack lines or hammocks. Or, walk further into the 10 acres and fine your own mossy spot near one of the many streams or creeks you'll discover. Plenty of opportunities for practicing tracking skills as deers and other woodland creatures have created footpaths through the land. Bird watching, mushroom foraging and foraging for wild herbs and plants are also abundant! The land is undisturbed and was uninhabited before 2020 - there is something enchanting about the wooded land here!

En route for the eclipse, we booked this property to park our van for the night. While we could only park in their (nice and flat) driveway, we imagined the property below to be excellent for tent campers. Very communicative hosts, grateful!
