Located in the heart of Brownington Village, and about 15 miles from the Canadian border, our property allows for easy access to many scenic locations. Enjoy all that Vermont's Northeast Kingdom has to offer including many beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, and ski areas. The Old Stone House museum, located a short walk up the road, is open May-October and is a rich source of local history. Willoughby Lake, flanked by Mount Pisgah and Mount Hor is a 15 minute drive from our place. There are about a dozen homes in the village and you will hear traffic going by, including horses and buggies carrying our Amish neighbors. Other Attractions: Newport-Derby bike path - about 20 minutes Jay Peak Resort - about 35 minutes Burke Mountain - about 45 minutes Craftsbury Outdoor Center - about 30 minutes Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium - about 35 minutes Kingdom Trails Mountain Biking - about 35 minutes Close to VAST snowmobile trails The property has 2 sites - an RV parking spot with an electric hook-up and a cabin that sleeps 3 and has electricity and running water. The cabin has one queen-sized bed and one twin bed (we provide sheets, blankets, pillows), couch, mini-split (heating and air conditioning), refrigerator, coffee pot, electric kettle, electric griddle, toaster oven, and a small table with chairs. The bathroom has a sink, a shower, and a composting toilet. You're welcome to use our community fire pit which is shared with other guests (and with us).

This cabin was perfectly for me for one night - very cosy and well kept with blankets and heating, close to restaurants and fairly priced.

This was a very convenient and cute cabin. Easy to find using google maps, which has been an issue with other places I have stayed in the area. The hosts were communicative--
