Camp Roadrunner is a private 30-acre campground, with lots to do. Large open area for camping. Private access to stocked trout stream. Amenities: 30 Amp, 110v power on a pole in the camping area, a portapotty next to the camping area, a large fire pit, a picnic table, horseshoe pits, and hiking trails. There is also a sandy beach area where you can relax in private. From the bridge to the property down past the beach is over 1000ft of stocked trout stream. The property backs us to a large nature preserve and is in a quiet valley. Feel free to reach out with any questions. The front of the property is a gorgeous stocked trout stream (see fishing info below). The back of the property is mostly wooded there are hiking trails through the property. Go to the private beach and lay on the sand or play in the water. Or go sit next to one of the waterfalls on the property. The property was an old logging camp at one time and we have left some of the old equipment on the property to view. Please see the map of the property, to see where to camp, where the bathroom is, also where the private beach is. There is NO hunting on the property. It is extremely quiet and peaceful. You are booking for your whole group and you have access to all of the property. Peaceful getaway along lovely creek

Lovely, quiet space to camp and the creek was so peaceful and beautiful! Mark was a very responsive and helpful host. Wildflowers blooming were a nice touch to wake up to and it was so nice to plug in our B+ camper! Would recommend boots for walking through grass to outhouse and for creek adventures. And, unfortunately our low tailpipe was hit and damaged on our way out due to rougher entry/exit slope so be careful if you have a low tailpipe!

Great Place To Stay

My stay was great despite the awful weather we had. It was quiet and peaceful. There was a camper set up on the property and friends of the host was staying There. I was unaware that we wouldn't have the place to ourselves until after we booked and paid. The host didn't know until the last minute that his friends were there. I almost canceled but Mark was very helpful and informed me that there was plenty of room at the site. He was being honest! We set up camp a good ways from the camper and the other guests. We didn't even know they were there. We had a couple of freak thunder storms that caused the creek to rise. Fishing wasn't good with the high muddy waters. We just chilled and relaxed and made the best of it. My German shepherd Willow had a blast there. We will definitely go back when we can enjoy the wonderful fishing that I know is the norm!

Nice piece of property on Crooked Creek. My dog loved swimming in the creek. There is power on the property but I didn’t use it. The road in front is a little busy but tolerable. The grass needed mowing but it has been raining a lot lately.

Great time at Roadrunner Camp

My wife and I had a great time camping and fishing at Roadrunner! The location is beautiful, private, yet less than 19 minutes from anything you need... groceries, shopping, movies, or dining out. What a superb location and experience! The property owner, Mark, is a true class act and was available to provide whatever assistance we needed. We highly recommend!
