We welcome you to our view of the great outdoors. We are 30 minutes from the entrance of the well known Skyline Drive, part of the Shenandoah National Park. We are surrounded by multiple hikes, restaurants, breweries and wineries less than a 30 minute trip! Onsite we have numerous amenities open to all camping guests which include, fish stocked pond, large swimming pool, basketball court, and soccer field. We welcome you to stay with us and enjoy our 40 acre view! This camp was previously operated as a summer camp for large groups, but will now be open to groups of all sizes including campers throughout the year! This is new for the camp and the new owner, but we’re excited about hosting everyone going forward! Welcome!

Site 4 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows

Dog friendly and stars galore!

Fantastic spot to relax after a great hike. Wonderful space and the stars at night are wonderful. Our dog was very happy to run and play. Would absolutely stay again. Reminder: Please clean up after yourself when you leave. Pack your food and waste out. Our dog got sick because the previous campers left their waste out. Don’t be that person, leave the space clean for the next person

Site 1 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows

Great camping sites for car camping. There are five camping sites and we stayed at number 1. Was covered by trees, had a fire pit, wooden bench was a bit unruly. Had a large soccer field. Love that dogs can be off leash, ours had the time of his life.. there was an extremely loud group on the other side of the camp up late which was annoying and kept me up until midnight. I’d like to stay in campsite #2 or #4 next time since it gets very nice morning sun. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Beginner-friendly camping!

It was my first time camping and my family and I enjoyed the amenities and beginner-friendly campgrounds. The staff were also responsive and helpful. Beautiful mountain sunrise view too!

Great spot

Very scenic drive on the way up. Wineries about thirty minutes out from the site as well. Camp site is well maintained and bath houses are in good shape. Had a blast while I was there. I would definitely recommend

Site 5 - Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows

Awesome spot. Great views, very secluded and peaceful especially in the off-season. Was worried about the $25 "bundle" of wood, but it is in fact wood for the duration of your stay. Awesome for those of us rocking canvas and a stove.
