Pastimes on Passage Creek Ranch is conveniently located at the north end of Fort Valley, VA. The property consists of 40 acres of low-land pasture, perfect for groups large or small. The Lakeside Mountain Stream site gives you the option to camp on our 5-acre lake, or camp in Creekside Cedar sites in shade along the banks of Passage Creek, just a very short walk to the lake. The property has 1/2mi of Passage Creek running adjacent to the campsites, as well as, the lake to enjoy. The Creekside Cedar sites are located within a sparse, groomed, Cedar grove along the banks of Passage Creek. These sites are extra large and can accommodate multiple family groups. This Lakeside Mountain Stream site is very secluded, overlooking our 5-acre lake and mountain views in the background. This site also has its own dock and is just a short walk to Passage Creek. An additional seasonal mountain stream cascades behind the site and feeds the lake. Locally, the North end of Fort Valley offers many great hiking trails, trout fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, and the Elizabeth Furnace day-use park. Taskers Gap OHV/ATV park is a short drive south, and the valley is sandwiched between both forks of the Shenandoah River for those looking to paddle. Additionally, the local towns (Front Royal, Strasburg, Woodstock) offer their own charm and wide range of activities and attractions.

Lakeside Mountain Stream

This is the perfect spot to unplug and chill! Beautiful lakeside, private site is perfect for family time. Clean and refreshing lake and creek to swim in. Clean campsite and the most clean port-o-potties I've ever been in. We even adventured a few miles down the creek and found a rope swing! Also enjoyed the kayaks, row boat, and the fishing! This is a special spot and we will be back.

Little Piece of Paradise

You will not find more gracious hosts than Chuck and Eric Jesse. What they have made available to all of us, through Hipcamp, is a little slice of paradise. I’m certain this property holds a special place in everyone’s heart that has had the opportunity to experience it. The hosts want nothing more than for all of us to have a great time, but please remember to be respectful of your neighbors, treat the land as if it were your own, and leave it better than you found it🤙

Whole Camp Venue

This is a truly magical spot!

I rented out this entire hipcamp to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was a spectacular weekend. Several people in my group are thinking about using the property for their own events in the coming year. The highest praise. The lake is a dream to float in, swim in, paddle board in, and walk around at night under a bright moon, as whippoorwilIs offer their calls. The gorgeous ridge line speaks for itself. Eric, my main point of contact, was incredibly easy to work with, accommodating, and informative. He is genuinely excited about the beauty of this slice of the Shenandoah Mountains and happy to share it. The port-o-potties were spotless when we arrived. It's wonderful to have firewood (good firewood!) on site for purchase. There is ample flat ground to set up tents and spread out. The firepit is big enough to get those flames to kiss the sky. And while there seems like little reason to leave the property, there are many wonderful things to experience nearby. Highly recommend!
