Site 3 - Tent / RV site
We loved tent camping at Site 3. There were beautiful views of the farm and the mountains in the background, with plenty of space to spread out and locate tents. Our teenage kids loved petting the horses and fishing in the pond. We would love to return!

Amazing camping
We had such a wonderful time camping at Sugarday farm. The campsites were set up nicely, the views amazing and the water refreshing to swim in. My dog had the absolute best time running around, meeting the other dogs, and just enjoying life in general. Our first morning there, we woke up to hot air balloons flying above the farm. The location also couldn’t have been better. It was super easy and quick to go get groceries or get food out in downtown Charlottesville, while still be only 40 minutes away from Shenandoah National Park.
I truly cannot recommend this farm enough!! We are already trying to plan a return trip!

Site 5 - Ridgetop meadow
Great place to camp. I will definitely come again when in the area. Beautiful patures to set up camp with horses everywhere you look. Clean bathroom with hot water and a garden hose to fill water tanks was very helpful

Site 6 - Remote tent site
Rustic and pretty place
Overall we had a good stay. Our site was quiet and private which is what we were seeking. The farm was close to town which is what we were after. Only two things to point out were that the grounds needed mowing and we didn’t feel comfortable using the bathroom in someone’s house. A mower and a portable potty would put this one over the top.

Site 6 - Remote tent site
Amazing place to stay
My finance and I had plans to hike old rag and needed a spot to camp, the night before. This has to be one our favorite spots. We loved how close to the city we were and yet so secluded in our little spot. We walked around in the evening and had such a lovely time running into all the furry friends, and seeing all the beautiful
Horses. Our only regret is that we didn’t book additional nights. We will be back.

Site 5 - Ridgetop meadow
Site was easy to get to. Property is wonderful and extremely quiet. Sunset views were perfect. Other sites were far enough away to have privacy as well.
