Great Experience at Spot 4
Great spot by the river, large flat space for a tent and there was room to park our small kayak trailer off to the side. The river was tons of fun for the kids, bring your water shoes. There were bugs but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be that close to water. They do a great job mowing and trimming back weeds. No bathroom but a port a potty was delivered that day we left so that might be a new feature. We checked out the other spots and thought site #4 was the best for river access and kids. Some of the other sites might be bigger or have a bigger beach area depending on the river height. River was low so spot 4 had a great flat area where we could sit in the river to cool off.

Fantastic Private River Camping
Graham’s site was beautiful and exactly as the pictures show. Site 4 had great access to the river and fishing was lovely here. Graham and his son even stopped by to check in on things and then left us to our camping shenanigans. The other sites were far enough away where we had our privacy and could just barely hear the closest site. Plenty of firewood, great shade from the hot sun, and a cooking-friendly fire pit. We hope to come back soon.

Site 2 - Private Paradise on Rivers Bend
Beautiful property, great little campsite. Camped at Site #2 after hiking Old Rag. It’s a decently secluded campsite, and right next to a stunning section of the creek that runs through the property. Cooked sausages on skewers over the fire pit, enjoyed seeing the lightening bugs and being tucked up against a lush deciduous forest.
