Enjoy the peaceful sound of a swift running creek, from each of our campsites. Nearby, you'll find the Massanutten Resort, as well as the stunning Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. The Swift Run entrance to Shenandoah National Park is only 15 miles away on Virginia Route 33. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table for your convenience. Hawks and other wildlife can be spotted on the property, including deer - we counted 15 at one time in April. Ducks and geese also call the creek home. Our camping area is limited to 5 acres, but you're welcome to canoe on the Shenandoah or Rivanna Rivers. Additionally, there are plenty of nearby hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park or the George Washington National Forest. For a fun day trip, head West to Seneca Rocks. The surrounding farming area of Rockingham County offers plenty of scenic country roads for cycling. All campers must be self-sufficient with their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they depart. This is a primitive campground. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring. There is no electric, no water, no bathroom or shower facitlty. We offer 2 campsites, each of which includes a picnic table for your convenience. The campsites are equipped with a fire pit or fire ring. Both campsites are located alongside a constantly flowing creek, providing a serene backdrop for your camping experience. For those feeling adventurous, you can wade across the creek in the shallows and explore the flats and steep hills that surround our campsite. The area is teeming with wildlife, including hawks and a variety of birds nesting in the area. Just be mindful of groundhog holes; they can be found throughout the campsite! I even saw some baby rabbits running around last weekend. Our campsite is conveniently located just 15 miles from the Swift Run entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, making it a perfect home base for exploring the nearby attractions.

Rob's Land
Nicely secluded site in between a field and a stream. I did some micro fishing to pass the time and saw plenty of little fish and minnows. The space is pretty basic and previous reviews about taller grass are correct but I was able to find a space where the grass was knocked down. Be sure to walk the drive in to make sure the road is not muddy. It is not rutted but if you drive a car you may feel nervous on the drive in. Overall a great basic spot, would stay again.

The Perfect Spot
Rob’s Land was so fun! It was quiet, peaceful, and in the best location. My nephews tagged along and they had the best time in the water and exploring all around. We cannot wait to come back!

Creekside oasis!
This site was wonderful. Private but easy to get to. The creek was teaming with critters and the view of the mountain was beautiful. Rob made sure we were aware ahead of time that rain could make driving all the way up to the site difficult but this didn’t end up being an issue. I would definitely like to come back to this spot again!

Rob's Land
The site has some real potential. We enjoyed the proximity to the creek, it was up a bit and we were able to catch a couple of fish in a deeper section. There are multiple sites so on a busy weekend you might have a neighbor. The site could use some maintenance. The grass was bit tall and took us awhile to tramp it down around the site, but other than that we had an enjoyable, relaxing evening.

Rob's Land
Private Paradise by the Creek
I was able to stay at Rob’s Land for nearly a full week next to the bubbling creek and the corn field. There was hardly another visitor and even though I was only a short 4 minute drive from the gas station, it felt like I was a world away. The site had all the essentials: a fire pit, access to the water, a view of the nearby mountain, tree’s to hammock, and it was easy enough for my van to pull into. Wine berries grown along the creek which are delicious, you’ll just have to fight the deer for them.
