Experience the Tranquil Beauty of Two Rivers in Madison, VA Welcome to Two Rivers, a picturesque haven nestled in the heart of Madison, Virginia. Our property offers a unique and immersive camping experience that combines the charm of the great outdoors with modern comforts. Here, you'll discover the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Camping Sites with Deck Structures and Roofs: At Two Rivers, we provide two carefully designed camping sites, each featuring deck structures with roofs. (Camping essentials such as tents, sleeping pads...etc. are not provided) There is plenty of room to camp traditionally on the ground if desired. These sites offer a blend of comfort and ruggedness, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors without sacrificing the convenience of shelter. What's more, these structures are equipped with solar lights, ensuring your evenings are well-lit and cozy. You'll also find hooks for hammocks, inviting you to relax and sway with the gentle breezes, suspended amidst the natural beauty that surrounds you. We do not allow parties or additional guests on site under any circumstance. You will be asked to leave the property immediately and will be charged an additional fine. Fire Pit and On-Site Firewood: We provide on-site firewood for purchase (cash or Venmo), ensuring that you can enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a campfire throughout your stay. It's the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the natural wonders of Two Rivers. Robinson River and White Oak Run: Two Rivers takes its name from the two exquisite waterways that define our landscape. The Robinson River flows gracefully through the property, and it connects to the White Oak Run. The confluence of these two rivers creates a serene and enchanting atmosphere that you can explore and enjoy. In the state of Virginia, a fishing license is required on all rivers. We recommend walking up stream or down stream if you plan to fish, as the water is often only 2-3' deep near the camp sites. Abundance of Wildlife: Nature enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the diverse and abundant wildlife that calls Two Rivers home. Birdwatching, nature photography, and simply observing the local fauna are all favorite pastimes here. Please note that hunting is not allowed on the property by guests, ensuring a safe and protected environment for the animals that grace us with their presence. **Kayak season is in the spring - the water depth average should at least be 2.75’ before attempting a trip. Otherwise you will drag. During summer droughts, the river will be shallow near the camp sites.

Great Family Camping Site
Tent · With kids ·
Took my son on his first camping trip here recently as it was the perfect combination of remote camping yet close to town with on site amenities and I was right! The site itself was even better than described. At site #1 it was a short walk to the parking lot and Porta potty (essentially right next to it), the platform made for easy tent set up and protection from the elements, Fire pit area was the perfect size and felt very comfortably situated close to the camp and overlooking the water. We could see the other guests at site #2 slightly but also obscured by trees and the sound didn’t travel really between camps so it felt very private. The path down to the river was pretty steep and muddy, but once down in the river, it is the absolute perfect fly fishing spot and great place when low water level for kids to play. 100% will be returning hopefully more than once with family and on a solo fishing weekend. Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of the night with my son as he woke up feeling sick, But it was very easy for us to quickly pack up and drive up the hill out of the site, and it is very close to amenities in town (McDonald’s, Gas Station, Food Lion, etc.). Book this site! You won’t regret it.

This was our third time staying on the property but the first time staying at site 2. This has turned into our favorite spot for. Quick weekend getaway. The view from our site was amazing and we loves hearing the sound of the river while we sleep. We were able to see a family of deer across the river as well. We will definitely be back again

I think this campsite is phenomenal and we really enjoyed our stay. The firewood was close by and that was very convenient. If I could make any changes it would be cleaning up the brush along the river

Peaceful and scenic campsite
Kari’s Hipcamp site was perfect! We stayed at site #1 which is closest to the parking lot and the shared bathroom. We were right near the river and had plenty of privacy. The two sites are a good distance away from each other to where you would not be able to hear conversation. The deck was a great addition to feel lifted from the ground, and also protection from any potential rain. The fire pit was very large and easy to cook on with the included cooking grate. Overall we’d come back!
