Wineberry Grove
Wineberry Grove was a perfect, private campsite. We were tent camping and had plenty of room to spread out. Nice views of the mountains and a short walk to the river. It was also nice to be able to lock the farm gate entrance which added a sense of security. Only a short drive (30 min) to enter the Shenandoah National Park. Some local traffic on the narrow country road but you hardly notice it. We enjoyed hearing the chickens, turkeys and a cute braying donkey! Beautifully quiet and dark at night. Would recommend!

Very nice camping experience. Directions were easy and the site was tucked back hidden away on a quiet road. This was my first experience using the Hipcamp app and everything went smooth. Looking forward to exploring even more. My travel pup and I had no issues so we didn't even need to contact the host Jen. So all I can say is, Thank You!, for allowing us to spend the night at your quiet camping spot as we traveled thru.

Great private spot! Loved getting to look at the mountains as the sun rose over the trees. All the farm animals really captured our one year old’s attention to. Very kid-friendly!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful area with a creek nearby. Well kept land. Stars were gorgeous. Quiet. A great escape. The only unexpected issue were a LOG of bugs/gnats but light your fire and they go away instantly! Would bring citronella and bug spray and other bug devices. Gorgeous place to stay. Would stay again!

Flood Warnings
Due to flood warnings in the area, I did not occupy my campsite. I was at a herding competition 5 miles away where tractors were needed to pull cars out of the grass parking. I would rather loose my payment than risk those conditions that week. It sure looks lovely in the pictures.
