RV and Camper Site
Horrible Experience
The sites were not as advertised with 30 amp power. The 110 provided tripped constantly. The site is not suitable for RVs or for campers with animals under control. Two dog attacks on the weekend by uncontrolled dogs and the hosts would not take action. This was our first Hipcamp experience and never again.

RV and Camper Site
Beach Bum weekend
Overall, we had a nice weekend at the ocean. The ocean is a short walk or drive (you can drive on the beach here!) and is the feature here. Ocean time!
The camp, consisting of at least 8 sites, is situated out back of the hosts home by an old barn past the horse area. The camp is welcoming and anyone we saw was very friendly. Stacy also answered my questions and communicated well with us. The property has some water at the end of the horse area and the hosts have decorated with buoys, beach items and have a hammock.
This was the hosts first weekend hosting and Labor Day weekend. The campsites are close together making it feel cramped when full, not just the lack of privacy. The listing does not have many details so here is a short run down.. There are two rv sites (access to water and power in old barn) and the rest are tent sites. Only one tent site has a firepit (horse site at end of horse area) and the other firepit we discovered was a community firepit however it is located directly next to one of the rv sites. The property is located directly off of the main road in Grayland so you will hear some traffic. The Local Store and The Local Bar and Grill are a short drive for any necessities and surprising great food.
PSA: there is a tiny adorable chihuahua that actually owns the place 😁 she may wander down the road to camp so keep an eye out. She’s sweet but has great acting skills at crying out like she’s hurt so don’t be alarmed if you happen to pick her up.

Basic Tent Site No Firepit
Has potential to be great one day
First please note that this is a new HipCamp. It has potential to be cute but it’s not there yet. This is a very honest review. These are things that should have been done before opening.
Better entrance signs are needed from both directions. Everyone I talked to drove past it at least once. Move personal cars from the entrance space. We were worried about hitting them. Having the lawn mowed would have been nice. The grass was extremely long. With beach weather it gets very wet. Stuff was left lying on the ground. Repair the little dock as it looks unsafe if anyone actually walked on it. Trim up trees for easy access. One person tore the top cover off his RV on an overhanging limb. WAY too many tent sites crammed together, not enough room for vehicles to even turn around if all the sites had cars there at once. Move the horse trailer. We were camped with the trailer. Define all sites better would be extremely helpful. One person drove out past the campground to what appeared to be the neighboring property. 5 tent sites at maximum, 8 is just too many and stacked too close like Twin Parks State Campground. 2 RV sites were fine but not well defined. A TOILET We were prepared but others were not and looking for trees to pee behind. There was not anywhere for something like that so people were leaving on a regular basis to go find a bathroom.

Basic Tent Site No Firepit
Laid back and comfortable.
We had a peaceful private spot out back by some big old spruce trees and it was perfect. Woke up to the songs red crossbills, olive sided flycatchers, kinglets, flickers, and some chuffing deer that were annoyed we were at their breakfast joint.
The hosts are awesome and laid back, and this is in such a great spot. I highly recommend The Wandering Goose down in Tokeland for breakfast (kind of the only joint around, but it's a real good one).
Thanks a bunch for having such a chill spot.

Happy Camper U-Pick Tent Spot
Nice little spot for a few tents on Stacy‘s property. Justin and Stacy were very helpful and also recommended a really good restaurant and beach to check out. Ocean is about 5-10 min walk to a nice beach. Everything was really good for us! Thanks again from Canada
