This is Packwood at its finest! This exclusive RV parking spot is situated on an acre property! This property is nature’s “gem” for those who love the outdoors & wish to be part of what nature has to offer. Wake up to the peaceful sounds of Butter Creek while enjoying your morning coffee. This RV spot is equipped with a 20, 30 and 50 amp receptacle, with full access to water and septic. You will also have access to free wi-fi. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, NO TENT camping is allowed. This RV spot is located just minutes from town, where you can enjoy unique restaurants, breweries, and shopping. There are numerous year-round recreational activities including hiking, boating, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, and fishing. This location is just 30 minutes from White Pass Ski Area and 25 minutes from the Stevens Canyon Entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Note: Be sure to check which entrances are open prior to your visit to Mount Rainier! Easy RV Camping along Butter Creek!

Open, level and peaceful spot up the bank of Butter Creek. Large, gravel lot with full RV hookups. There is a little path at the creek side from one end of the lot to the other and easy stairs back up to the parking pad. Lots of options for nature walks and hiking nearby, and a short 30 minute drive to White Pass for skiing when in season. The hosts are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a great time!

If you are traveling and need a place to stay in Packwood, this place is a must. The owners are absolutely amazing and the campsites are pristine. It is obvious they are very proud, as it is shown throughout the grounds. Love this place!

Perfect winter setting

Beautiful pivate property located right on the Cowlitz River. A little bit of lowland snow but white pass was only 25 minutes up the hill. Shelly was very friendly and prompt to respond. We had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back to check out the summertime fun on their property.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Hipcamp

This was hands-down one of the best Hipcamp spots (and hosts!) we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Shelly and Joe are truly amazing – they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and provide a top-notch camping experience. It felt like we were getting professional treatment from the moment we arrived. Their site is perfectly situated right next to a beautiful creek. The sound of the water was so relaxing, and we loved listening to all the different birds. The location is also incredibly convenient: just 30 minutes from White Pass for some amazing outdoor adventures, and only 2 minutes from all the great shops and restaurants in Packwood. It's the perfect balance of peaceful nature and easy access to amenities. Shelly and Joe's communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us well-informed about everything we needed to know, especially regarding camping in the freezing weather. Their thoughtful preparation made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. We can't recommend this Hipcamp spot highly enough! Thank you, Shelly and Joe, for an unforgettable stay!

A gem tucked away in Packwood

I would highly recommend Butter Creek. Joe and Shelly were very welcoming. A quiet space tucked only a short drive from town. Less than 30 minutes to White Pass ski area! And there are full hookups, with the cold weather it was nice to run a space heater in our RV without needing to fire up the generator.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and have always had a great time! The owners are super welcoming and helpful and you can’t beat the views in every direction. We loved being able to see, hear, and walk down to the river and there’s a walking loop from the property that was fun to use. It’s easy to get to town and easy to tow our travel trailer in and out of. We will be back!
